Enrollment Process
Veterans are entitled to a comprehensive health care package that is entirely portable across the entire VA health care system. This doesn't take the place of who you are already using for your health. These are services that VA offers in addition to your current providers. At Veteran Alliance USA, our mission is to ensure that senior veterans receive the timely and quality care they deserve. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we coordinate care for veterans and advocate for those navigating the complexities of the VA system. We believe our veterans deserve better—systems and processes that prioritize their health, well-being, and dignity. Until the VA adopts a culture of accountability and improvement, we will continue to stand as advocates for those who have sacrificed so much for our nation.
Step 01
Copy of DD214
You must have a copy of your DD214 (your discharge orders from service) to submit with enrollment form. You can obtain a copy from National Archives if you do not have a copy. The link is on our site under services and DD214 or you can click here
Step 03
Medical Records
We will gather medical records to submit with your enrollment so that you will be approved medically and not have to go through financial process. You can also provide additional medical records.

Step 05
First Vesting Appointment
Your first appointment with the VA is called a "Vesting Appointment". This is your assignment to your VA primary care. It doesn't replace your primary care provider outside of the VA. Your healthcare services that is paid by the VA must go through assigned VA primary care for approval.
Step 02
Enrollment application
Once you have a copy of your DD214 then you are ready to begin your enrollment application. You will need to complete the enrollment form.
Step 04
Submit
You are ready to submit your enrollment. Once submitted, it will take approximately 2-4 weeks to get your first vesting appointment with the VA.
Step 06
Healthcare Services
You now have access to all services that the VA offers. And if you are catastrophically approved, you won't have any co-pays for any services that you normally would have deductibles and co-pays requirements. Congratulations!
