Volunteer Meet and Greet

At Veteran Alliance USA, our mission is to ensure that senior veterans receive the timely and quality care they deserve. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we coordinate care for over 2,000 veterans at any given time and advocate for those navigating the complexities of the VA system. Unfortunately, the VA, particularly the Phoenix VA, exemplifies the challenges of government-managed healthcare.

Veterans consistently report systemic issues, ranging from delays in care to dismissive responses from VA staff. Despite repeated complaints and efforts to raise awareness, these issues often go unaddressed, with accountability and transparency sorely lacking. Instead of prioritizing meaningful reform, there seems to be an ongoing effort to downplay problems and shield staff from accountability.

While no agency is perfect, the unwillingness of the Phoenix VA to acknowledge and address its shortcomings is deeply concerning. Veterans who are seriously ill and in urgent need of care cannot rely on the Phoenix…
